The leader of a Milwaukee nonprofit financial growth work has been appointed as the new head of Wisconsin’s housing growth authority.
Elmer Moore Jr. will provide as chief executive officer and government director of the Wisconsin Housing and Financial Development Authority, successful April 11.

The authority, identified as WHEDA, has 165 staff members and a $3 billion portfolio — predominantly financial loans and mortgage guarantees to aid cost-effective homes and flats.
Scale Up Milwaukee focuses on supporting enterprise enhancement and occupation development, which includes an emphasis on lessening the prosperity hole amongst Black and white men and women.
